Terms of Service

Flowmap City provides tools to upload, analyse, visualise and share flow-map data. You must provide accurate account information, protect credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account and for configuring public or password-protected shares appropriately.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant GeoVisually the limited rights needed to host, copy, transform, back up and display that content solely to provide, secure and support the service and meet legal obligations.

You must have all rights and lawful bases needed for uploaded or published personal data, provide required notices, and honour data-subject requests. Do not upload unlawful content, credentials, malware, or sensitive/high-risk personal data unless the use has been explicitly agreed and safeguarded. GeoVisually may suspend a share or account where necessary to prevent harm, comply with law, or protect the service.

Team owners control membership, invitations, seats and shared projects. Public links can be accessed by anyone who obtains the link. Password protection is an access control, not a guarantee against copying or onward disclosure. Customers should minimise personal data before publishing.

Paid plans renew monthly or annually through Stripe until cancelled. Charges are based on the selected plan and purchased seats and are shown before confirmation. Seat increases may be charged on a prorated basis immediately; decreases and some billing-period changes may take effect at renewal. Taxes may be added where required. The Stripe billing portal controls payment methods, invoices and cancellation. Except where law requires otherwise, fees already earned are non-refundable.

Our Privacy Notice explains processing for which GeoVisually is controller. Flowmap City does not currently offer a Customer Data Processing Addendum. You must not use the service for Customer content where your use requires GeoVisually to enter into processor terms under applicable data-protection law. Contact privacy@flowmap.city before uploading such data. See the current subprocessor list for the principal providers used to deliver the service.

You may not probe or bypass security, disrupt the service, access another user’s data, use the service to violate law or third-party rights, or resell it except under a written agreement. Reasonable automated use must respect documented interfaces, tokens and rate limits.

We aim to operate a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change features for security, legal, operational or product reasons. We will give proportionate notice of material changes that adversely affect paid use where reasonably possible.

You may stop using the service or cancel a paid plan through the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate for material breach, non-payment, security risk, illegality, or discontinued service, normally after reasonable notice where the circumstances allow. On termination, access ends. You should export Customer content before termination. Personal data and Customer content are then handled under the retention criteria in our Privacy Notice, including applicable backup, legal-hold and statutory-record requirements.

The service is provided with the care required by applicable law. To the extent law permits, implied warranties are excluded. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. GeoVisually’s aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to fees paid by Customer during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where a limitation is prohibited, including liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Swiss law governs these Terms, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts at GeoVisually’s registered seat have jurisdiction, without limiting mandatory consumer rights or another forum required by law. Contact info@flowmap.city for service questions.
